this release is pure reference.

Bill has his review up at the bits and I have one up at dvdfile also comparing against the new DVD release.


I saw no instances of ee/ringing on the blu-ray (unlike the DVD which was riddled with mild ee). And I was looking for it!

IIRC MPI released a very early DVD version of A Hard Day's Night which I purchased along with my first DVD player back circa 1998.

This is the Blu-Ray release that led me to believe
I needed a Blu-Ray player NOW.

A week later, and now I have one, and the blu-ray of Baraka,
and I am amazed.

Now I just have to find someone who I feel is worthy of my DVD of the film.

Glad to see this film got the Blu-Ray release it so clearly deserves.
