Here's a better example... disregard the one I put up before (I think I used the wrong filter):

This was shot with the sharpest focus on my camera, lowest exposure, and highest possible resolution (and finest detail). Notice the smoothness around the reflection of the sun and the smoothness of whites. Also note the tiny figures near the bottom...

This is the same image with a sharpening filter that is similar to what's used on video...

Note that sections once smooth now have noise. The edges of the clouds were smooth, but are now hard-edged. Also notice how EE made the image file size larger.

Remember that film is basically no different than a pointillist painting.

Can you be so kind as to give us a few more screen shots and previews of what we can expect as we anxiously await your review? Maybe some shots from the puppett show and Salzburg fruit market.

Thanks for posting the screen-grabs. I can't wait to project this. Hopefully, the beginning titles will look noticeably better than they are now.

That's some nice photography you posted. Do you mind telling what camera you used?
