Can one run the Dahlquist QX10 which is 4 ohms, with the Kenwood VR6070 which is 6 ohms, or would I need an additional amp? Is any one running QX10's with a receiver? Thanks.

Hi Clyde,
I have a client in New York state that uses the QX10s with that receiver.
As they don't specify in the manual of the receiver, I called Kenwood to be sure there was no problem and their response was yes, no problem unless you use four ohm speakers at all locations. In that situation, the protection circuitry may shut down the receiver prematurely but no problem using four ohms as mains.
