..as a consolation, Richard Virenque is still in the Polka-Dot jersey.

I thought yesterday's stage would be closer than it was with Richard trying to limit his losses so he could remain in Yellow for Bastille Day but alas, the writing was on the wall at the base of the l'Alpe d'Huez when the posties attacked.
