My vote today was for Captain from Castile. For the write-in suggestion box, I've suggested (or will suggest) for the 1940s: The Mark of Zorro (1940) Blood and Sand (1941) Man Hunt (1941) Western Union (1941) Roxie Hart (1942) Son of Fury (1942) Tales of Manhattan (1942) This Above All (1942) Heaven Can Wait (1943) Jane Eyre (1943) The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) The Keys of the Kingdom (1944) Lifeboat (1944) Wilson (1944) Leave Her to Heaven (1945) State Fair (1945) Anna and the King of Siam (1946) Cluny Brown (1946) My Darling Clementine (1946) The Razor's Edge (1946) 13 Rue Madeleine (1947) Daisy Kenyon (1947) Nightmare Alley (1947) Anna Karenina (1948) Call Northside 777 (1948) Cry of the City (1948) Road House (1948) The Snake Pit (1948) Unfaithfully Yours (1948) Yellow Sky (1948) The Beautiful Blonde from Bashful Bend (1949) I Was a Male War Bride (1949) Prince of Foxes (1949) Thieves' Highway (1949)

I voted for it again yesterday. Don't know yet what my choice today will be, but I might repeat.

I understand the popularity of that film, but IMO, Kiss of Death is one of the most important films ever made.

All worthy choices, especially Lifeboat, Keys of the Kingdom, and Leave her to Heave .

Its a long shot, but I really like Letter to Three Wives.  A great film and one that doesn't stand a chance of being picked! :(
It may not get first here, but it would be a cardinal sin for Fox to not release it. There's most definately a market for it and it's a very witty and well-made film that was one of Joe Mankewicz' stepping stones on the way to All About Eve.

I'm still voting for The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, as it's a film I really enjoyed when I first watched it. If it's still in the lead tomorrow, I'll probably vote for something else.

It's funny you say that. I remember very vividly seeing him do that tribute on the MERV GRIFFIN Show in the 1970's. I was very very little and I had no idea who she was at the time (it couldn't have been too long after her death) but it has stuck with me all these years. Many many years later, as an adult in the mid 1990's, I had the chance to speak at some length to Neil Sedaka (in his bathrobe, a long story) and I mentioned remembering that Merv Griffin appearance and how much it stayed in my psyche. He looked at me like I had two heads BUT he immediately got me a signed photo!

Good call on SITTING PRETTY. However, for today's write-in I picked TALES OF MANHATTAN. I'm a big fan of Anthology Films.

Absolutely right. I think most of us here would like to see ALL of these films that are up for voting to be released. I guess we're voting on what we want to see first, but I'll hate not having all of these on Blu-ray eventually.

The fact that they're saying "Vote Early and Often" is trying to make it more of a horse race: "Annnnd, at the three-quarter post, Jesse James is losing ground; at the head, it's Mrs. Muir pulling ahead of Kiss of Death by three lengths, and Captain From Castile's dropping back, it can't find an opening..." I know I'm standing at the rail with my $2 tickets shouting "C'monnn, Blue Bird 6%, Daddy needs a new Blu-ray!", but I'll probably end up tearing the pieces up with 5th-place finish. :(

I've been jumping around to various favorites, but I have to admit that The Blue Bird has gotten most of my votes.
