Joe Pesci where are you?

Does anyone know what ever happened to Joe Pesci?Do we have to wait for another Lethal Weapon film to see him again? He has'nt been in any films since 98 and I was wondering if he's ailing or something to that effect. His performance in Goodfellas still is mesmerising to watch. And his Casino contribution was great also.

AFAIK he is fine. I haven't read or heard anything on his health status.

I don't believe there will be another Lethal Weapon. I remember seeing a biography on Mel Gibson (MSNBC, Headliners and Legends?} and he pretty much stated that LW4 is the last in the series, unfortunately!

I'll give a shout out if I find anything on his currents whereabouts in film!

Last I heard of him he was taking skydiving lessons in Arizona. Hope he is in something soon. He is a great actor!

I must say that I have to hope for more than him being in another film soon...I hope that he is in a good film soon! The last few movies he has been in have been real stinkers.

THe last thing I had heard was that he was battling some form of cancer.

I'd love to see him return to acting as well.

i like joe pesci, but i am also wondering where dustin hoffman and jack nicholson are these days. these old actors....they captivated me all the time with their acting.
hoffman and nicholson haven't disappeared off the radar at all...hoffman is in a movie that was just released (albeit in less than 500 theaters in the u.s.) called "moonlight mile", and nicholson is in "about schmidt", due for release in december.

anyways, the only pesci movies i've seen are the first two home alone movies...yeah, yeah, i need to go watch his other ones. i have nothing against him, so i hope he comes back soon.

I also miss Mr. Pesci and would like to see him in something good soon. My question is "Where's Rick Moranis?"

beginning of 2001, but it wasn't that long ago...

Alphonse--

Rick Moranis has pretty much withdrawn from the public side of showbiz to raise his children. I believe he has his own production company in NY.

the pledge? dang i forgot about that one. and moonlight mile? i pay this forum a visit at least once a day and couldnt recall anybody mentioning it. it looks like a good movie...
Moonlight Mile hasn't gone into general release yet, so my bet is most people here haven't seen it. There have been a lot of reviews, though, and they shouldn't be too hard to find.

i think the current release is as wide as it's going to get, according to http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hp&id=1808403017&cf=prev.

Very bad pun David.....

Last I heard he was going to try and get some creative new roles in his upcoming films, most specifically he wants to play a street tough Italian gangster in a film about the mafia. It's a stretch but he could pull it off I think.

Oh god there actually was a movie called Gone Fishin'? I thought David made a pun on Pesci's name, which is Italian for "fish"....

Unfortunately, there is...

I miss Dennis Hopper, although he is in Knock Around Guys, how awesome would it be for him to somehow reprise his role as King Koopa. Afterall, the ending to Mario Brothers clued to a sequel, and I am tired of friggin waiting.

Minor trivia:
There was a small reference to Joe Pesci in Panic Room that drawed a big chuckle from me

What ever happen to that silly ass Chevy Chase?
Finally, Joe Pesci has returned to acting... in the new SBC Yahoo DSL commercial.

Weird that someone mentioned Chevy Chase two posts ago. Why?

In Joe Pesci's new SBC DSL commercial, Pesci suddenly has hair again! And not only that, it's very dark.

In Chevy Chase's recent return to acting, the Aflac commercial, Chase suddenly has hair again! And not only that, it's very dark.

Did they really expect that nobody would notice that they're wearing wigs?

Hey it works for Shatner!

Mr. Pesci is now a racehorse owner. We caught him interviewed during NBCs or ESPNs (can't recall) weekend racing coverage a few Saturdays ago.

I think the horse is named "Pesci," and she's won a couple of races already.

Hey, it almost worked for Tony Soprano...

Joe Pesci has been working as a US interrogator at GITMO. He's now handling the Hussein interrogation.

SADDAM
Ho! Mr. Pesci! You are one funny man!

PESCI
Could everyone leave the room, please? No, no, leave the bat.
