Hi I just bought a home theater system and I bought a surround sound speaker mount, should I mount my 45 watt each surround speakers on the wall in the back or should I mount it on the ceiling (which would yield better results)

One more question I bought a pair of monster xp speaker cables to replace my cheap speaker cable on my front speakers but I have a problem the old speaker cable wont come off it seems to be glued should I cut half of it off and twist the new monster cable together with the old speaker cable or should I just leave it alone

Thank you for your reply

Rafayel,

To answer your first question, I would say mount them to the rear wall about 6-7' from the floor. To answer your second question: It sounds like your describing a speaker with the wire built in. Unfortunately, without disassembling the speakers, desoldering the old wires, and installing speaker plates or new wire, you will probably going to have to leave it alone.

Good Luck,
Bill
