Well no.2 you're about 800 posts ahead of numero 3 Mr.Zen Butler, and I can't remember the last time he posted here. Parker's currently no.4, Mike Frezon is fifth and RickER may be shocked to learn he's sixth with over 1000 posts! Only 6 of us has passed 1000 posts in testy, 2 have passed 2000 posts, and one of us is well past 6000 posts [cue gasps] half his total forum post input is in.. this.. thread!

Btw I've passed the 12,000 post mark, again. I hit 12,000 before, about a year ago, and here I am passing 12,000 posts again, woohoo! I lost hundreds of posts during the great forum upheaval of 2009.

The best quality blu-ray I've seen so far is a film that's nearly 50 years old.
How the West Was Won, they really went all out for this film. A beautiful job of remastering the landscapes look perfect, no shimmering, no haloing, the colours are great too. The amount of detail on display is incredible, what was I watching all these years?

"There's an entirely different universe beyond that black hole. A point where time and space as we know it no longer exists. We will be the first to see it, to explore it, to experience it!"
I also watched Disney's
The Black Hole, unfortunately seeing the film upscaled on a 42" screen showed up all the wiring holding up the floating robots and some floating humans too. Why didn't Disney paint over them or something? Didn't they have the technology to erase wires in 1979? Or they just didn't care? So many wires it was like watching Thunderbirds for chrissakes. The film is still enjoyable, some of the effects are interesting but it's not one of the Disney greats, and it needs a lot of remastering especially after just seeing How the West Was Won.
