Worst Movies of All Time - Page 2

This list contains neither reptile-horror pain parades Crocodile nor Alligator.

There are far too many good or so-so movies on this this, but the worst ones are AWOL.

SHE, Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS, Adrenaline, The Howling 2-6, Witchboard . It is my opinion that if these are the absolute worst movie they could find in a videostore, they could also presumably die of starvation if they were locked in a grocery-store over memorial-day weekend.

What about those ridiculous "Leonard" movies with Bill Cosby?!?!?

I'll have to respectfully disagree with you regarding Alligator. Written by a young John Sayles, I think this one is a clever and very entertaining horror flick - with lots of sly humor. Now Lake Placid: there's some reptilian doodoo!

What about those ridiculous "Leonard" movies with Bill Cosby?!?!?

There's only one of those and it's called Leonard Part 6. One can only assume it was meant as a joke, but - much like the content of the entire movie - it's not even almost funny.

Truth Or Dare, not the one with Madonna but this other tripe.

Ok..., What the hell is 'TCM' and 'Mars Attacks' doing here...

Popeye makes the list but Patch Adams doesn't???

Ooooh! I had totally forgotten about Patch Adams! That has to be one of the worst films I've seen in the last 5 years!

I have 4 of those on DVD...

- Judge Dredd
- Titanic
- TPM
- ID4
I also have ID4, Judge Dredd and Anaconda on DVD. If this is truly a list of the worst films of the last 100 years, those who voted for them can't have seen many films (and those they have seen seem to be standard high profile Hollywood fare less than ten years old).

I can think of any number of films that are ten times worse than the worst films on that list.

Hey! Whats Caligula doing on that list!? Thats a classic epic that is, used to watch Caligula every Christmas with family and friends, aaah memories!

And I'm shocked to find that I have 30 of those 'stinky' movies on video and dvd, I've moved them onto a new shelf which I've labeled 'Worst Movies Ever Made', its sad to see Star Wars, Star Trek, Texas Chainsaw, Titanic, Showgirls etc etc together on this shelf, but what can you do?...

Worst film ever made in my opinion was 'Jaws The Revenge', which was absolutely dire, no redeeming qualities whatsoever, the nearly as bad 'Superman IV' had Gene Hackman's mad villain Lex Luthor saving it from total crapness.
Seems like some of the titles on the list are there just because a movie flopped or had some sort of controversy either while filming or in post-production, like Heaven's Gate for example. That movie is incredibly beautiful, but was butchered all to hell before its release. If that's the criteria for this list, then they might as well include The Magnificent Ambersons.

That just goes to show us once again, as with AFI's "the best of everything" countdowns, that lists are pretty much meaningless.

What did you expect from a site run by two former ushers at a movie theater?

Well I'm proud to say I don't have any of IMDB's lowest rated in my collection, and I've never even heard of 90 of those movies, and seen just one 'The Giant Spider Invasion'.
I guess you don't watch much Mystery Science Theater 3000, Steve. A hefty percentage of those movies were on the series, and that's the most significant reason why they're ranked so low. It's always amusing to pop open a MSTied movie and count the IMDb comments that run something along the lines of "this movie is soooo bad, i would never watch it except with joel/mike adn the bots cause at least then its funny dontwa tch it otherwise". Don't get me wrong...I'm a huge MST3K fan, but a lot of those "reviews" are pretty embarrassing.

Aside from the MST3K eps, the only titles in the IMDb list that I own on DVD are Mangler II, A*P*E, and Sizzle Beach USA. I would own Troll 2 if it were available, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. I had several on VHS as well and have caught others (especially CHUD 2) on cable repeatedly.
Has anyone mentioned Posse with Mario Van Peebles yet?
I guess the list was created before "Like Mike" hit the theaters. That's the only possible explanation for its omission.
Most of that list should have the incomparable works of Mr. Steven Seagal. Excluding a few, it should also include Mr. Jean-Claude Van Damme's movies as well.

Adam, the first and only time I watched Mystery Science Theater 3000 was when they had one of my favorite 50's monster movies on "The Deadly Mantis", now I didn't know anything about this show and I sat down to watch my movie, imagine my horror when the 'hosts' started cracking jokes and making fun of the movie all the way thru!! But I was soon laughing my ass off.

59 Splatter University (1984) 1.9 (60 votes)

Is this a horror flick or an adult movie?

Steve, I guess you missed the ep of MST3k that actually featured this movie. It is one of the most inane pieces of tripe I've ever seen. Naturally it's positively hilarious once Mike and the bots are done with it, but I cannot imagine watching it without them. I mean, I'm all for cheesy monster flicks au natural, but TISCWSLABMUZ ranks up there with Manos for sheer stupidity.
Awesome! I have 11% of that list.

Armageddon
Godzilla
Independence Day
Lost In Space
Police Academy
Porkys
Porkys 2
Red Dawn
Star Trek: The Motion Picture

I saw this on VH1 the other day. It was the funnest movie I have ever seen.

Mandy Moore in A Walk to Remember?
