How about a movie I bet none of you have ever heard of. It is called "Brewster McCloud" and it was released by MGM in 1970. Directed by Robert Altman, it is about a man named Brewster (Bud Cort) who lives in a bomb shelter under the Houston Astrodome, and he dreams of flying one day with a pair of wings he built himself. It is a very interesting black comedy that I caught late one night on TCM in its OAR and I watched it and really enjoyed it, especially its surreal ending, which kind of reminded me of the very end of "M*A*S*H". The movie itself, if not the greatest, is original and you'll either be blown away by it and completely turned off by it. The film also features Sally Kellerman, G. Wood, William Windom, Margaret Hamilton, Stacy Keach, Michael Murphy, John Schuck, and Shelley Duvall in her debut film.
Remember, the movie is called "Brewster McCloud".
