The WWE™ - Page 125

Re: The WWE™

Wow, and here I thought the audience was really responding to him. People cheered wildly everytime he came out. I thought he had a bright future with the WWE (he just needed to improve his mic skills a bit).

That's a surprise to me.

Re: The WWE™

Well, reportedly Lashley wasn't thrilled with how the WWE treated Kristal Marshall when she was released and those 2 are an item. Plus, he didn't feel any effort was being made as it related to his return being planned/promoted.

He still has to negotiate a release and so he isn't really gone until that happens. Carlito wanted to leave last month but they convinced him to stay at the last second.

Re: The WWE™

Tonight, combat-hooligans.com has live coverage of the Royal Rumble.

We'll start with the play-by-play at 8:00 PM ET. We'll have match-by-match updates and results. It isn't quite a stream but pretty damn good.

Re: The WWE™

Wow, it feels so good to be surprised once in a while. I had no idea that Cena would be coming back during the Royal Rumble. What a welcome he got from NYC. The fan went nuts. And the way he came out was pretty cool too. Arms crossed, head down and then...wham...the whole place erupted.

So I assume he'll go after Orton and get "his" title back?

BTW, for those of you who saw the PPV, what happened to Hornswoggle? I didnt' see him going over the top rope. Did he?

Re: The WWE™

Cena's back? Ugh. I was enjoying watching a Cena-free Raw as of late. Looks like it's time to watch something else on Mondays.

Re: The WWE™

I think due to Finley's interference, Hornswaggle was DQ'd.

I think it's better if Cena goes after Edge.

It sucked they didn't give Hardy the belt, and it's lame if they don't intend on giving it to him soon, so I'm hoping he'll get another shot at Orton at WM.

Re: The WWE™

Do you think Vince McMahon would really give the WWE championship belt to Hardy? I'd love to see that happen but is Jeff really championship material?

Re: The WWE™

I'd love to see Hardy get the belt. Going over Cena and Orton in a 3-way at WM would be great.

Re: The WWE™

Hardy is no worse than Orton is as champion. He has been so hot and has/had a lot of momentum that few wrestlers can ever achieve that it was a mistake not to give Hardy the title, and at least see where he goes as champion.

Re: The WWE™

Don't get me wrong. I love Hardy as a wrestler and yes, the fans love him as well. The only thing he lacks are mic skills and IMHO, that's where Orton is a bit better.

But thinking about it, they gave the belt to the Great Khali, so anything's possible I guess.

Go Jeff!

Re: The WWE™

Is it likely that we will see Ric Flair lose his Career Threathening Match at this year's Wrestlemania ?

It is a great story telling device.

Re: The WWE™

WM would be a good place, but I'd rather see Flair retire in North Carolina and have the fans give him the ovation he deserves. From the way things are going, it looks like he'll lose to HBK.

Re: The WWE™

So Flair is retiring for real this time? I thought he was better friends with HHH than HBK. Wouldn't it make sense to lose to him?

Hornswoggle was never elminated from the Rumble.

While I would've liked to see Hardy win the title, champions are made at WrestleMania not the Royal Rumble.

Two Elimination Chamber matches on No Way Out.

Few people knew Cena would be at the Rumble. They kept that secret pretty well.

It doesn't make sense for Cena to go after Edge since it is Orton who holds the title Cena never lost, plus we did Edge and Cena already Orton/Cena was a fresher program and with the built in wrinkle of Orton holding the title Cena never lost there is more mileage there.

Flair is set to retire at WrestleMania but things change.

WWE talent releases

Mostly from developmental. Some names you may be familiar with if you watch RoH or are a long-time fan of TNA.

Re: The WWE™

Just a FYI.... I was bored today and at youtube typed "shoot interview" and got alot of hits.

Watching the Scott Hall one now. Some of these have been pretty good.

Re: The WWE™

Ordinarily, I don't post Raw Ratings here. However, when they look like this it is definitely news.

It is a bad sign for the second hour to be lower-rated than the first hour and IMO a worse sign for it to happen during Mania season

Re: The WWE™

If anyone is interested here is a quick look at some of what I've watched on WWE 24/7 lately.

Best $8 I'll spend every month.

I know as soon as the second half started getting Cena-heavy, I turned it. Cena bores me to tears.

WWE has ended its developmental territory contract with Ohio Valley Wrestling.

I submit to you that things started going bad when Mr. McMahon's ass appeared.

Quarter hour ratings show that's where the big drop happened and they couldn't recover.

Re: The WWE™

On the same day that WWE announced the ending of its developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling, the company also announced that
Smackdown will be leaving the CW

Re: The WWE™

I think I still have my old VHS tape of that Clash. I havent watched it in 10 years but remember it being a really great show with the Flair Sting 45 minute draw.

Also check out this shoot by Heenan. A REALLY entertaining interview.

No Way Out preview and predictions

Should be an interesting show as it will set the table for WrestleMania.

Live coverage of No Way Out

I don't know if you're going to watch or not, read or not or just don't care...but whatever you do, enjoy!

Re: The WWE™

Smackdown cuts contenders to two

So how many people without thinking about it or consulting a channel guide can tell me what channel MyNetworkTV is in their local market?

10, but I only know that because I used to watch IFL Battleground.

Re: The WWE™

It looked like Floyd was really punching Big Show. So this whole thing was fake?

So much for wishing to see Jeff Hardy as the WWE champion for once, but nooo....we get Triple H once again headlining Wrestlemania. Hey, at least he's a babyface now.
