Linda Hogan files for Divorce

It just hasn't been Hulk Hogan's month...or year for that matter.

I know. Poor guy hasn't caught a break lately. How are Brook Hogan's sale numbers?

Re: The WWE™

Not sure about the accuracy, but here's an interesting post from DVDTALK about upcoming dvds.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has a new list of scheduled DVDs for 2008:

2/12 -- The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin
3/25 -- Triple H: The King of Kings
5/6 -- Evolution of the Hardys
6/3 -- The Rock
7/8 -- Best of Starrcade
8/5 -- 20-disc SummerSlam Anthology
8/5 -- Life and Times of Mr. Perfect
11/4 -- Edge
11/18 -- RANDY SAVAGE: MACHO MADNESS
12/9 -- STING

The DVD lists continue to get better and better as the years go on....Savage and Sting...Wow.

Re: The WWE™

With Sting's TNA contract till the end of 2008, there could be a chance WWE may scoop Sting up. That would be a huge stretch as Sting has not been the biggest fan of the WWE, but of course it could all be just hearsay. I'll be interested in seeing it.

Re: The WWE™

Hey, I know it's been a while since this happened and it's old news but were you guys as shocked as I was with this Edge/Vicki Guerrero storyline and them making out on TV? I know it's been some time since Eddie died but I thought that was a little tasteless.

The HHH - Ric Flair match was actually pretty good. And Flair actually got some flying time!!

Re: The WWE™

How long do you think before we see the obligatory Big Show vs. The Big Khali. What a borefest that match will be.

BTW guys, I forgot to come here last week and comment on how good I thought the Jeff Hardy/Umaga steel cage match was last week. PPV caliber match right there.

So who do you guys think will win the Royal Rumble and which champion will that wrestler go after?

Re: The WWE™

Hardy-Umaga was great...the rest of that Raw set new standards of bad.

I predict Taker wins the Rumble and goes for Edge.

I don't know when Big Show will wrestle Great Khali, only that I won't watch it.

Now for the reason I came here. WWE has issued a press release on going to HD.

He outdid himself this week on Raw with that dive off the stage.

Re: The WWE™

The steel cage dive was better for me. It's harder to balance himself up there and he really nailed that move when he usually screws it up. The stage dive came off like as if he dove into a swimming pool.

I'm not sure how the entire sequence was choreographed but Hardy did not just dived into a pool of water, it was Orton's flattened body down below.

The stage seemed a bit higher than the structure of the steel cage, though it may be due to the camera angles that gives it that perception.

And how funny was it when Hardy signaled to the crowd as the credits rolled and the show faded to an end.

Re: The WWE™

What I meant by "pool of water" is that it seemed very well protected and padded. And it seemed like Hardy's legs connected with Orton, and with a move like that, I think Hardy's upper body carries most of the weight on the impact.

Today is a good day, I got WWE 24-7.

Re: The WWE™

My first review of something off of 24-7

And I think, for reasons I explain that this is probably the most appropriate show I could've possibly picked to review.

Re: The WWE™

I'm officially a WWE 24/7 addict.

Review of the ECW on TNN Premier from 08/27/1999

I also took a look at The first Raw and man what a terrible debut that was.

This channel is already worth the $8 a month it costs me to keep it.

Re: The WWE™

I saw the Hardy "swimming pool dive" and I also liked the steel cage dive better.

If Hardy is doing all these crazy dives before his big match at the Royal Rumble, imagine what he has in store for the PPV. He has to outdo himself, right?

Yeah, by winning the title from Orton.

BTW, whatever happened to RVD. He featured up for the Raw anniversary show then haven't seen him since.

His contract expired over the summer. The Raw Anniversary was a one-night deal. RVD is taking time away from the wrestling industry, he didn't like the WWE travel schedule.

Re: The WWE™

I don't have USA HD (Buckeye Cable in NW Ohio), but I have to say that even in (digital) SD, it was noticibly better looking than before. I hope we get USA HD soon
