Can Big Lazy now before he sucks any more. You have DX masquerading as the NWO, whatm ore do you need?

I could hear Nash scream in pain clearly without turning it up very loudly. This really unfortunate news for Nash if the injury is as bad as Triple H's was.
It's sad to see someone return to their profession from an injury only to get injured again on the first day. I don't think I've ever seen a wrestler audibly express so much pain from a real injury. This could mean the end of Nash's career and the NWO.

Gerwertz is a writer, I doubt that his job involves communicating the script with the wrestlers. I believe that is the job of the agents.

Wait, so Nash's injury was real? It's so hard to tell what's fake and what's not. I mean, I saw the guy trip on Booker T with his right leg but when he went down he was grabbing his left knee.
And the fact that he screamed so loud made it look even less real.

So what da dilli yo?
The reason I think it is completely legit is because of the reactions of Earl Hebner in ring, and Bubba Dudley's reaction beside Nash outside the ring.
Too bad I already erased it from my Dishplayer or I would've slow mo'd the incident.
While I thought it might have been fake at first, Bubba's reaction is what convinced me--that and the fact that he looked a bit angry (as in genuinely angry) when X-Pac came up and started kicking him while he was trying to help Nash.

I've always enjoyed Kevin Nash, so hopefully this won't be the end for him.

Just go to Wrestlingobserver.com if you want to know what's "real" or "fake" concerning wrestling.

Nash never drew a dime in his life. No big loss.
While I dig the Michaels/Nash era of the nWo, it seems that it's time for Nash to call it a day.

The guy gets injured if he breathes too quickly.

Great. I miss one raw, and it's one with a career-ending injury.
ohwell. I guess I'll watch the replay on smackdown...
Joe, that's a great picture, lol.
You could tell the way he landed and stepped something happened. Often times they fool me with an injury and this time its real....
This is from wwe.com

Kevin Nash had successful surgery on Tuesday afternoon in Birmingham, Ala., to repair his left quadriceps muscle, which was completely torn off the bone. Dr. James Andrews informed World Wrestling Entertainment officials that Nash’s recovery will be slow and extensive, and that the former WWE Champion will be out of action for at least six months. Andrews added that he was happy with how the surgery went. Nash is currently in recovery, resting at the hospital in Birmingham. He is expected to return home in a few days.

This comes at a bad time, not just for Nash, but for the entire WWE. The nWo was starting to pick up under Nash's lead, and now he will be away from action again. It should be very interesting to see how this plays out and what will happen regarding the nWo and Kevin Nash. Also, do not necessarily count on seeing Nash back in six months. As you know, HHH had a similar injury and ended up returning several months past expectations

I started watching WWE a few weeks ago after being out of the loop for a few years (since mid 90's).

I read a few of the posts above and they mentioned something about the WWE kicking Stone Cold out and then him coming back or something like that. Can someone elaborate a bit more on this? It sounds interesting.
He left arenas before his matches, didn't show up to shows, and when he was suspended, he beat Debra(his wife) and ran off
post #255 of 3869
Wow, out for 3 months and injured on his first match back.
Nash is probally done, but he has a lot of charisma and doesnt have to wrestle to be usefull.

on smackdown tonight they were showing clips of canadian wrestlers from last week complaining about how bad america is. and also on tonights show they keep referring to america,

but isnt cnanda in america. and part of america. shouldnt they be calling the united states bad and and awful instead?

I'm curious about something. When the Kurt Angle music starts playing (pretty catchy tune by the way, I can't stop humming it), the audience screams something in tune with the music. Are they saying "you suck!" or is it something else?

Great show last night. Nice to see the Rock was back. And when Kurt Angle called Busta Rhymes "Puff Daddy" I almost wet my pants from laughing.
Yes, the crowd is chanting "You Suck". It was started by Edge, I think.
Was that during the match where the loser had to shave his head?
It was done before that. After the head shaving match, Edge said that instead of chanting "You Suck!" they should chant "Your bald!"

Edge is hilarious. You had to love when he told Hogan that Mr. Nanny was way better than The Scorpion King.

Yeah, that was very funny.

The "You Suck" chant during the song was started by a crowd once (Philly?), and then everyone else picked it up.

At first when it all started I had thought that the chant was for LOSER!

What about the return of Eric Bischoff? He had a pretty good promo. I found it rather amusing that he brought up how he used to ruin the ending of Raw when it was taped, and all the other things he done to put the WWE out of business.
Yep, showed how well Bisch did kicking Vince

I think Kurt is going to carry the title once more before he goes into deep training for the Olympics, He's in great shape, and maybe he can use some of the technique and speed he's picked up in the WWF to help him win again (No, I am NOT saying he should come to the mat with a chair, or do anything but REAL wrestling). I wish him the best of luck in doing it again, and I have a lot of respect for the man

I want to know what's up with all the injuries lately. That chokeslame through the table Big Show (or Giant, as Bischoff insisted on calling him) gave Booker T was sloppy looking to begin with. The way Booker bounced off the table looked plain painful. I told my son I thought it was a legitimate injury before the mic picked up Jerry Lawler & J.R.'s comments.

Also, has anyone heard why X-Pac is on a leave of absence? I read that they had cancelled all his house show bookings, but hadn't heard a legitimate reason why.
I didn't recognize Bischoff when he was announced. I was never into WCW. Are all the things that he said he did to WWF true? Is it true that at one point the WWF was struggling and WCW was winning in the ratings?

Re: Booker T, yeah, that looked painful. What were Jerry Lawler and J.R's comments afterwards? I heard them mumbling on the mic but couldn't understand what they were saying.

So is WWE Raw struggling in the ratings? They gotta be if they're thinking about bringing The Rock and Triple H.
Why the dramatic changes? Will the NWO disappear? So many questions, so little time.
As far as I know, all the things Bischoff said he did are true.

I'm pretty sure Booker is OK. IMO, they played up his "injury" in a way they normally would to push a match. He will be fine for the PPV this weekend.

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Yup, pretty much all that the Bisch said was true. There was only one time when he announced the results of Raw that it backfired on him, and that is when Foley won his 1st World title on Raw. Nitro announced that Foley was going to win the championship and so everyone turned the channel to watch it.

I was glad that Bischoff didn't talk about Brett Hart, since Brett is in bad shape right now. I also got a kick when he talked about reusing the NWO gimmick. He milked it in WCW, Vince Russo went back to it in WCW, and Vince used it as well. I hope the NWO is dead because I am really sick of it. WCW wanted HHH bad, but he decided to stick with Vince, and it has paid off bigtime for him. RAW should be interesting now, I just hope they don't ruin Smackdown by bringing back the whiny Stephanie as that shows GM.

What do you mean by Brett is in bad shape right now? What's happened to him?

And something Vince said last night got me wondering...what's up with the Ultimate Warrior. Anyone know anything about him?
