AFAIK, both are hosted by the same company? Screw up!

Glad to see that I wasn't the only one, although I do find it somewhat it annoying that I can't get to the bits.

I believe it's spelled FAQ.

I glanced at the FAQ and didn't see anything relevant. Care to be a bit more specific?

"I believe it's spelled FAQ."

Oh, you say it with a Boston accent.

and I was about to check the router...

Very strange. The Digital Bits can still be accessed via their alternate URL www.digitalbits.com, however.

Edit +25 mins: both addresses are now functioning as usual.

it was probably just a simple DNS A record gone awry.

I'm still getting mis-directed. Fortunately www.digitalbits.com does work.

I thought it was fairly common knowledge that the HTF and TDB were on the same server.

The forum went down yesterday for me while I was browsing it and at the same time, the digital bits showed as being the Flash/non Flash intro page for the HTF.

I'm actually surprise that this is the only thread that resulted from it.

Yes, we are on the same server. There was a serious server problem. While it was being solved, apparently the DNS pointed to the wrong site for some time.

Scary, isn't it?

Parker informed us everything should be OK now.

Our members didn't see the problem, and theirs couldn't get on their board... I happen to know, however, that some people got raving mad, thinking it was a hostile take-over, or something...

my experience was the the whole HTF was completely down, at that time. guess it was just me.

No not just you. Part of the time we were also effectively down.
