I cant think of anyone whos around right now,maybe they should go for a unknown like they originally intended to before Tim Burton got involved and decided on Michael Keaton.

I can only think of who shouldn't play the lead: Ben Affleck and Freddy Prinze Jr.

The role should go to either Hugh Jackman or an unknown. I doubt that Hugh Jackman would even accept the role becaue it would attach a stigma to him that he can only do superhero movies.

Thinking tangentially, if Reese Witherspoon played Catwoman or Batgirl, I'd probably at least rent it.

Anyway, in all seriousness now, the movies in this franchise have all more or less lived or died based on the villain (and, of course, the tone) not who gets the more straight man role of Batman.
