New York, NY - February 10, 2012 - Kino Lorber is proud to announce the DVD releases of Modus Operandi (2009), a film by Frankie Latina and featuring Danny Trejo that is a wild throwback to the grindhouse movies of the '70s, combining elements of Blaxploitation, gore, Italian giallo, and Japanese gangster flicks; andSuspicion (1987), a thrilling remake of the Alfred Hitchcock classic about a newly-married young woman who becomes increasingly paranoid about her husband's suspicious behavior. 

Modus Operandi (2009) comes to DVD loaded with special features, including deleted scenes, extra interviews, an introduction by Sasha Grey, behind-the-scenes footage, and audio commentary. The DVD streets on February 14, 2012, with a SRP of $29.95. 

Suspicion comes to DVD on February 14, 2012 with a SRP of $14.95.

This twisted tale involves Stanley Cashay (Randy Russell), a CIA black-ops specialist living in a state of drunken depravity after the murder of his wife. When some highly sensitive tapes are stolen from the President, Stanley Cashay is called back in to action. He teams up with his flamboyant fellow operatives, Casey Thunderbird (Barry Poltermann) and Black Licorice (Nikki Johnson), in an effort to track down the tapes, while leaving a bloody trail in his wake. 

But the contents of the tapes are more explosive than Cashay could have conceived, placing the nation at the edge of catastrophe, with only the enigmatic and sadistic Director Holiday (Danny Trejo) in a position to stop it.

Modus Operandi was directed by Frankie Latina over a period of four years, shooting in his hometown of Milwaukee.

Jane Curtin stars as Lina, a lonely young American woman charmed by the arrogant wit of Johnnie Aygarth (Anthony Andrews,The King's Speech), a notorious playboy and seemingly wealthy bachelor. After a whirlwind romance, the couple marries, but unpleasant details begin to emerge soon thereafter.

It turns out that Johnnie is actually broke, and a compulsive gambler - a deadly combination. He desperately starts borrowing against Lina's life insurance policy, which arouses her suspicions further when he develops an unusual interest in murder mysteries. Lina begins to fear for her safety, and after Johnnie's friend suffers an unfortunate accident, her suspicion develops in to full-blown hysteria.

Directed by Andrew Grieve (Agatha Christie's Poirot), Suspicion is a well-executed mystery boasting a dynamic cast that also includes acclaimed actor Michael Hordern.
