Hello all:
I currently have a Panasonic SAPT 960 receiver with a built in 5 disc dvd. The receiver only has one HDMI out connection plus the other traditional audio/video connections. I am thinking about buying a blu ray player to add to this. Will it connect? I was told that I could run a HDMI cable to the tv from the blu ray player and then an optical audio from the blu ray player to the Panasonic receiver( It does have an optical audio in connection). Will this work, plus on my receiver, what input would I use to get the audio to play. The HDMI out is going to the the TV already, and I am not sure the sound will come through the system correctly. THe possible selections from the receiver are CD/DVD,auxilary, etc. THanks in advance for all responses!!
