Low speaker impedence

Thread Starter
I am planning on purchasing a Pioneer VSX-521-K reciever . Im not quite sure but it looks like its ohms impedence for the reciever is 6-8. Im upgrading from an HTIB. I cant buy new speakers for a month or so, so im wondering if i can use my HTIB speakers in the meantime. The fronts, center, and surrounds are all at 3 ohms. im probably going to buy a sub at the same time i buy the reciever, because the HTIB sub will defenitely not work. Im wondering if the impedence is going to be a big issue

The speakers will not work with that receiver.
