That would seem to be the case according to a survey from Best Buy, landed by the web site The Verge, on a day that’s been filled with Apple TV speculation. The site says that Best Buy offered survey participants an opportunity to “be one of the first” to get a 42-inch Apple HDTV for $1,499. It would include Web download features from the Apple TV set top box, iCloud storage, the ability to use an iPad or iPhone as a remote control, an iSight camera and microphone that can be used for Skype calls, and access to streaming video from Netflix, YouTube, and flickr. The come-on says that Apple “finally reinvents what a TV can do.”

Believing that Best Buy has insight into Apple products (outside of early unlocks on near-immediate SKUs) is on a path that lies madness....

Yeh, I have a hard time believing that Best Buy has all the scoop on a product they have not even announced.

If they were going to get it, and thy let it slip, will Apple have a contract clause that postpones the deal? Because BB needs Apple more than Apple needs BB?

It's just some survey done by Best Buy.  It is made up out of whole cloth, and not worth discussing.

The Globe & Mail article of a couple of days ago was interesting, because it claims Apple will be partnering for content with TV "Cable Cos"/ISPs such as Verizon or AT&T.  No idea if true, but at least it *could* be true, will the BB BS stands no chance of being true.
