Sound Question

Hey All,

I just put together my new home theater system. I have the Samsung 64" PN64D7000 with an Onkyo nr-590 receiver and the Take Classic 5.1 speakers. Everything looks and sounds great....almost.

When I click on the Smart Hub for the TV and start browsing the various apps, I can't get the sound to switch over. It stays on the cable box sound (whatever channel I happen to be on).

Any ideas?

Sounds like you need to run an audio line from the TV back to the Onkyo.

Make sure your HDMI cables are plugged into the ACR capable HDMI ports on both the TV and receiver. When you are using the Apps select TV as the input on the receiver and not sat/cable.
