I don't remember what thread it was in, but a few months back a couple of us reported that the links in the Rotating Thingie on the right side of the home page were dead. Or just resting. The Amazon link there did work, and honestly I don't remember what the other links were, but I believe the whole thing was taken down for repairs. At any rate, I haven't seen it since.
I'm running to Amazon so frequently through the day -- researching things, maintaining my cart to watch prices, etc. -- that when suddenly buying something (which happens way more often than is good for the health of my wallet) I haven't always been great at remembering to go back in through the HTF portal so the forum can get my crumbs. I'm getting a little better at using direct item links, like those in the threads where bargain prices on Blu-rays are watched -- and I believe this works through Mike's "Weekly Roundup" charts -- but there should still be an obvious general AMAZON link to remind us to benefit HTF by going to Amazon through "HERE". Yes? Or has it been deliberately discontinued? Or just forgotten?
Maybe I'm not seeing it for another reason, such as simply not looking in the right place, or I'm there but not seeing it right in front of my eyes. Or perhaps it's a browser issue. I'm using Chrome and am still on a Vista machine, but I think I saw the Rotating Thingie taken off while still using Firefox a few months ago.
Thanks!
