I had a Yamaha HTR-6140 that I wasn't using so hooked up at my girlfriends apartment which was working decent. I recently added a little Lenovo ideacentre with HDMI outputs to the setup which works fine on her Samsung TV but when I try to run in through the AV receiver there is no audio. I have a normal 2.5mm (or whatever size) audio cable from the TV to the receive which was fine with tv but it doesn't do anything special for movies that we stream. Any ideas what could be causing the HDMI audio to be getting dropped? there's also a normal audio out in the back and a optical audio out in the front if I needed to try those. Would like to have full range of my 5.1 options.
