Who in the hell made the decision to release this through Warner Archives? Wouldn't it be better to sell it at stores?

Given the environment for selling DVDs in retail stores, it has become difficult to get the shelf space for titles that aren't forecast
to be big sellers. Target, Walmart, BestBuy, they're stocking less DVD titles. BluRay is part of it, But It's just a reality that stores
aren't going to stock an endless number of titles. Then it becomes a decision for WB to make - sell to Amazon and the other on-line
outlets, or sell it direct through their own website for a much higher margin.

Obviously, WB has calculated that it's better for them to go the Warner Archives route with these kinds of sets. Yes, it's a chicken
and egg scenario to a certain extent - if you can't find dvds in stores, some people won't buy them. The online landscape is cluttered
with so many titles, who really knows what is available? New releases can get lost in the online world. A lot of it has to do with
the changing model of media - less physical format, more downloading from places like iTunes too.

I believe this title will be available direct from the Warner Archive but also in a few weeks Amazon and many other online retailers but not brick and motar.

I have noticed my library is now carring many Warner Archive titles and some of the recents are from Hanna Barbera.
