Yeah, and the price is even lower now at $4.79.
Is this a good film? Never saw it, and at that price, with a
good recommendation I might buy it.

Amazon prices $9.xx.
I saw it in the movies on its original release and as a young teenager it was fun watching Bisset swim around underwater but don't remember it being a very good movie.
It was a basically a cash in on the Benchly name and Jaws.

There are 2 releases of THE DEEP on Bluray. The original 2009 release from Sony and the 2010 Image after rights were sold/transferred. If you click on Ron;s link it goes to the generic page.
Click under Other Formats "Bluray" and you will see 2 links for a 1 Disc version. The second link will send you to a page with THE DEEP listed at 4.13 or similar from a 3rd Party (DIRECT Liquidations) but "Fulfilled By Amazon" (1 left in stock. There is also a 2nd 3rd Party seller (Newtownvideos) also fulfilled by Amazon at 4.39.
As best as I can tell the lower price for the 2009 version if you can totally trust the ASIN and details.
As far as I can find out these 2 discs should be the same except for some minor badgework though there continue to be rumors that the Image release dropped a number of the extras.
maybe this will go to the lower price disc

Can someone explain to me why when I use the LINK button to insert something it erases my link now? I know it's worked in the past, but is it something I'm doing or it the board blocking my URL's now.
