A question about The World Is Not Enough DVD

I watched the Bond flick last night for the first time since I purchased it around 2000. It played fine but it seemed every 10 minutes or so, the image 007 appeared on the lower right side of the screen for about 5 seconds before disappearing! This definitely didn't happen when I first viewed it. After watching the film, I put it in my Toshiba laptop during one of the sequences and there were no 007 images in the frame!

What would cause my player (a region free COBY 288) to display those images when other players do not. It was rather annoying though it didn't ruin the film for me.

i know on tomorrow never dies you had to shut off the logo for the optional angle feature or it would keep popping up.

Thanks, Paul but I tried the optional angle feature and it said, "invalid key". Very frustrating.

I think I've seen some discs where that type of thing is controlled by the subtitles. Maybe try to see if you can turn the subs off?
