Movie Scenes with no music only a bass line?

I am having a very hard time recalling a particular scene, and I can't even tell you what movie it is, where it is quiet, but there is a bass line, almost like a heartbeat. It is driving me crazy. Any and all help would be deeply appreciated....

Its been a while, but the first thing I thought of is Jurassic Park as the T-Rex approaches the stranded cars.

Could be a John Carpenter movie.

There are parts of the score to "The Thing" that could fit that description. I think the main theme kicks off with a "Heartbeat" like thump.

The scene in the Shining where Scatman Crothers is lying in bed having a vision/Jack entering room 237 comes to mind as well (but there is other music on top of that for much of the scene)
