The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

Thanks for the Roundup. Nothing for me. Think I'll stick with my Underworld dvds. If 2 & 3 were a little better I'd consider upgrading to blu especially with a couple of free passes but I think not.

Thanks Mike.  I'm keeping an eye on Colombiana, but frankly my wallet could use a real rest this week.

Thanks for the info!
I'm going to try to snag one of those Best Buy MI:III Blus on sale with the "Movie Cash" for MI:IV.
Mission Impossible III was my favorite entry into the series until this latest movie arrived, and I only had it on my shelf in its DVD iteration, which contained quite a few EE artifacts.

"Nothing Sacred" looks great, but it will have to wait until my wallet returns from a much needed vacation.

I'll pick up the Futurama Blu-ray at some point but not this week.

Thanks for the prices! smile.gif

Thanks for this. Midnight in Paris this week for me, which after 4 viewings in the theater I can definatively say is my favorite film of the year. The M:I Blus are very tempting, but since I don't have any of them yet, I'll just wait for the inevitable box with the fourth one in it which will be along in a few months.

Again waiting on this week's assignments to arrive for review. Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike.

And with that said, I have just added a link in the OP to Timothy's review of the blu of A Farewell to Arms.  biggrin.gif

I still have Christmas shopping to do, so probably nothing.  In a perfect world, I'd be able to splurge on a couple things.  Not a major problem since I don't watch what I have anyway.  :D

Amazon has dropped the price of Warrior to $17.99.  I'm going to change that in the grid.

In the meantime, Amazon has hiked the price on Rise of the Planet of the Apes from $22.99 a week ago to $24.99 and tonight to $29.99!  eek.gif  And I was hoping for a price drop.  It'll get here sooner or later.

Seriously considering Warrior, Midnight in Paris but definitely Dolphin Tale for a few kids' stockings. Also it looks like they are beginning to cash in on WB's moratorium on Harry Potter DVDs and Blu-rays with those HP sales.

Thanks for the round-up this week Mike.

There's some talk (w/ picture) over at blu-ray.com that BB will have this on sale for $14.99 next week.

Woohoo!  I love it when a plan comes together!  biggrin.gif

I'm figuring the same thing will happen to Colombiana soon enough...but getting Rise for just $14.99 is impressive!

Thanks, Man!  thumbsup.gif

If that RofPotA price holds up come next week, I'm snagging it.  Everytime a commercial for the DVD/BD comes on, the BF asks when it came out and why he didn't see it....

Apes is currently $16.99 at BJ's and I bought it. Wold probably cost me three dollars to return it and drive over to BB and buy it.
Yep I'll grab it for $14.99 that's why I buy nothing on release day anymore, the prices fall so quick

Thanks, Mike. I appreciate it. I think Midnight in Paris can be linked, too. (I didn't write it; I just read it.) smile.gif

Done.  Thanks, Matt!

Don't tell Richard...but I just missed that completely somehow!  blush.gif  Ooops!

Merry Christmas, Mike! (OK, I'm a LITTLE early!)

Although my DVD purchases have SUBSTANTIALLY dropped off, I still love checking out your posts...and thinking about the "old days" as your Target ad insider!

Have a happy and healthy 2012!
