Can't use "Back" button in my browser!

Just noticed this starting this morning.

Any time go to read a thread -- either by clicking the thread title and starting at the first post, or clicking the button to take me to the first "new" post -- the forum seems to add a WHOLE BUNCH of instances of the destination screen to my history.  The end result is that using the browser's "Back" button doesn't really do anything because I'd have to hit it a dozen times to get back to the forum listing.

I'm using Firefox 8.0 on a Win 7 system.

Here's a screenshot of what my browser says is my "history" after only clicking once to get to a thread:

Any thoughts?

Same here, with Firefox 3.6.11 running on Vista.  This started yesterday evening at some point, right out of the blue, and some experimenting indicated that this is only happening on HTF, and only with Firefox.

I've also verified that it happens when navigating to a subforum, not just threads. confused.gif

Correction - it only does that for the current page I'm on.  So, if I click on "Speakers and Subwoofer" then check my back button, I see a dozen instances of "Speakers and Subwoofers".  Then, if I navigate to a thread within that forum and check my back button, the "Speakers and Subwoofers" is suddenly correct and shows only one instance, but the current page now has a bunch of listings.

Has been happening to me too. I just tried to back out of this thread and couldn't .

Right.  You have to click on the down-arrow instead, and select the proper "last" page from below a dozen duplicates of the current one.

OK, so HTF is suddenly the "Strong and Silent" type?  It appears the problem has disappeared!

If there was a fix made, kudos to anyone involved for the speedy response.  thumbsup.gif

If the problem mysteriously went away by itself, don't feel the need to admit it - just take credit for the quick fix.
