Teach your students from
Notorious.
It is a clinic in how to direct a film on every level.
Hitchcock's set-ups are both traditional and innovative.
Not to mention technically perfect, right down to the duration of each and every shot in relation to one another.
Absolutely flawless.
Make sure your students diagram every set-up and time every shot.
Then they'll really learn.
