noobie link for some info

Hey guys,
apologize if this is a report question.
i would appreciate some direction to a thread or something.
i am interested in purchasing a 3D 1080P projector.
i have some questions, general questions such as:
what does ANSI Lumens means.
what does STD/Bright) 230W P-VIP means.
and some general guidelines as to how to choose the projector for me.

any help will be appreciated.

2 good websites to read over are Projectorcentral.com and Projectorreviews.com. In addition to projector reviews. they have articles about choosing projector type, screens, etc.
