I just finally got around to watching Blue - wow, what an improvement over a DVD I loved. The video quality was of course better, but my favorite improvement were the subtitles. They always seemed too high up on the picture in the original version. Now they're at the bottom of the frame. They don't have much of a border though, and there are a couple white background scenes that are hard to read.
I hadn't heard of the audio problem on White, luckily I ordered mine late enough (back in March) to get the second printing.
The weirdest thing is that the disc for "Blue" does not say "Blue" - it says, "Second Sunshine." I googled that, and it seems like no one else is talking about it. The disc content is fine, it played fine, etc, the label is even blue to match the color scheme, it just says "Second Sunshine." That's a bit odd, no?

Received my replacement disque for White. Only a week turnaround. It's a world of difference between the two. The sound on the new disque is much more vibrant, matching that on Blue and Red.

Ugh - I never received an email reply from my replacement inquiry and was a little gunshy about sending my disc off without authorization. Now I'm really tempted to just send it in...
