Hey guys, brand new here and while I feel this might be an easy question for pro's I really haven't found my answer online yet... and really, I have looked quite a bit. I've found answer's that are "close" to my situation... but not the same.
Please allow me to bullet point this for ease of flow and understanding.
Hardware:
1) I have a Pioneer VSX 1020 K 7.1
2) A Sony Blu-Ray w/HDMI
3) Optoma EP 771 (has DVI input)
Situation
1) When Blu-Ray is attached to receiver, which is attached to projector via HDMI/DVI adapter no video appears (sound is fine)
2) When Blu-Ray is attached directly to projector via HDMI/DVI adapter, picture is fine.
3) The "HDMI" on the Pioneer menu keeps flashing.
4) I've tried different HDMI cables from the Blu-Ray to the receiver.
I'm pretty sure my projector is not "HDCP" compliant, but, I don't think that matters for the receiver does it?
I have a DVI-D adapter and have ordred a DVI-I adapter just in case as well.
Thanks so much in advance.
