Lord of the Rings symphony - finally released on CD

I searched but found no mention of this, and thought perhaps it was worth its own thread, considering its greatness smile.gif.

So, finally it is out on CD, a very nice 2CD, and although this is not actually Howard Shore himself conducting, it nevertheless sounds great, as everyone knows who has been to any of these performances.

Not a thread about itself, but the Lord of the Rings Symphony (2CD) was mentioned in post #32 (forthcoming CD soundtrack releases) of the Movie soundtracks thread in this folder. smile.gif
