It was not the best episode, but I enjoy the cast and production.

And Schmidt is such a marvelous idiot, I love him! :)

I do like how this show is shot, very cinematic, with good lighting. The 3-camera sitcom shows on mainly CBS have a tired look to them.

It feels like a high production drama, e.g. Parenthood. It's such a lavish look for a sitcom.

I used to like Zooey (like, LIKE her), but this show has completely turned me off.  Which means there's zero reason to watch the show now.

^ She was on Craig Ferguson Monday, and the interview was funnier than the entirety of everything I've seen associated with this show. Rather than subject myself to a show I just don't like, I DVR "Glee" (which was also terrible last night) and go right into "Raising Hope" at 9:30.

Too bad it took racklicious CeCe to bring the funny out of the cast of male characters.

That episode started poorly, but turned out pretty good, if abrupt. I still enjoy it, though it's been more erratic the past couple episodes.

The guys were funny? I missed that.

I gave this show a second chance, after catching last week's episode by accident and laughing quite a bit. But this week's was again devoid of comedy.

The guys' clumsy attempts to woo CeCe got laughs from moi. The episode from last week was pretty weak.

The turkey in the dryer did make me laugh.

A preposterous but funny episode. The manically competent Chef Schmidt was my favorite part.

I could not stop laughing once Schmidt covered Nick with all the freezer food while he was sleeping. Funny episode.

Did we know Schmidt came from money?

Enjoyed the episode very much.

Just one of those comedies tonight that killed me for it's cringe-inducing humor.. the entire moment "it was like a mountain rescue" "are you OK" "are you OK"  I about choked on the food I had.

How tall is Eva Amurri?

Schmidt kills me.

Painfully funny at times.

Desparately awful at others.

Not my favorite episode, but it had some scenes. And I like earnest dorkiness between Zoe and Justin.

Oh man, I don't think I can watch It's a Wonderful Life this year

Eva Amurri would be almost 6' with heels!

Yeah, I looked up Eva's height, she's listed as being 5'10" tall!!! I just never thought she was that tall, but with Schmidt, it was pretty evident. She's lost a bit of weight, and it shows in her face because I almost didn't recognize her in the office scenes.

Knowing Justin Long was only slated for three episodes, the writing was pretty much on the wall for Jess's new relationship. Seeing the curmudgeonly Nick caught in the middle was pretty perfect.

But I do like the slow, continental drift of Cece and Schmidt coming together.

CeCe's reaction to Schmidt's perfume made me LOL, as well as subsequent references to how it smelled.

Yeah, the scent smelling awful was a nice twist on the sweet moment. Of course it makes no sense if you think about it (so don't those make your own perfume things involve some kind of smelling as you go?), but the gag (haha) overruled the logic.

I could see Schmidt overconfident in his ingredient choices for his perfume concoction. My mom seldom samples the food she served us when I was growing up, and sometimes she left out crucial ingredients and I was left with a puke-ridden face upon such samplings.

Not really, they are "smell as you go" but all it takes is for one interaction to go bad.. or, when combined with body heat to start smelling bad; or to mix with something else she's wearing.

It's the Sweet Cole Slaw effect as I call it.   It has a very sweet smell to it, one taste and it's sharp tart taste is enough to make me hurl!

Schmidt's 29th birthday bus episode was pretty good. And I hope Lizzy Caplan sticks around.

I like a skinny girl but Lizzy Caplan was so skinny that I didn't recognize her at first.

I just realized I made a pun on my Lizzy Caplan sighting.

I liked her build/weight when she was on True Blood 2 seasons ago.

can't do a Schmidt birthday episode without CeeCee

Yeah where was CeCe? I enjoyed the episode nevertheless.

Last night's episode slayed me. Schmidt was on a roll. They introduced a lesbo gyno character without much fanfare.
