Shaft 73-74 Series Coming To DVD

TVshowsonDVD has announced that the 73-74 series Shaft is comming to DVD. Here's the story:

As of today, Warners has started selling the series. This was a TOTAL surprise. With this series comming to DVD I wonder what the chances are of Get Christie Love comming out. I know that the original pilot movie has been released. I'd really love to have Christie Love. In the meantime I ordered Shaft. I've never seen any episode of Shaft, but I do have the three theatrical films. Sould be interesting to see how the series went.

Its not a great show and for whatever reason, when TNT ran them they never ran one of the episodes so it will be nice for us to get a chance to pick that one up. I'll wait for a sale though as the list price is a lot to pay for just one show. Don't expect it to be like the movies as he was definitely de-ghetto-ized for television.

Get Christie Love is a Universal property so you have to hope someone licenses it out. In the meantime, those cut up USA airings will have to do.
