Dragon*Con 2011 - Photos, etc. (1 Viewer)

So this year's Dragon*Con 2011 has come and gone (it always takes place on Labor Day weekend in Atlanta amongst 4 core down town hotels), and wondered if anyone wanted me to post some photos and links to larger photo sets like I did with Comicon 2011 photos. Bear in mind, I didn't really attend many panels (just 2 on Monday, one for Supernatural featuring 5 supporting cast members from the show, and one for Battlestar Galactica featuring Edward James Olmos and Tahmoh Penniket), and mainly just took photos at photoshoot events, while I just walked around the various hotels and found interesting cosplayers and mash-ups.

I'm not a fan of those shows, but I'm sure people would welcome the shots. I don't mind seeing some of the booth babes cosplayers.

These are from the first hour or so of the rain-drizzled Marvel Universe photoshoot on Sunday, suffice it to say, the rain wasn't helping matters, but everyone was great, and once a break in the rain occured, the megashoot was on again! These are from the main Marvel Universe event, with a break in the rain, Allen made the call to get everyone up on the steps, and we got most of the mega-group shots done. Then after those shots were completed, 30 minutes later, Stan Lee showed up, and we quickly loaded the steps back up with the remaining cast of characters who were still there, and took even more epic photos with Stan and every Marvel cosplayers there that afternoon. With the rain drizzling during the 4 p.m. Sunday timeslot for the Marvel Universe shoot, most of the subgroups shoots did not go down as planned.
