Doh!  I don't check in on Facebook that often, so I didn't see it (my last post was almost a month ago and thats really current for me) smile.gif.  The best thing to do is to use the red flag button on the bottom of the post.  That notifies ALL owners and moderators and usually gets a much faster response.

At least, I think it was you. If it wasn't, it was either Ronald or Kevin. So that's what that red flag in the corner does. I never knew that. Good to know now, though.

Yep it gives you a change to give your $.02 as to the problem with the post, sends and email to all staff and puts it in a spam/problem post queue that all staff looks at.

I thought I answered the BLONDIE question by saying that we didn't license the show from Sony.... but i guess not, so let me say ,no, we won't be licensing the BLONDIE films from Sony.

I was so hoping to get "Blondie Vs. Gamera."

This means we can get back to pondering when the Corman's Teacher and Students and Student Nurses collection will get released this spring?

Thanks for the quick reporting guys

Michael Felsher, of Red Shirt Pictures, who's working on the extras on the TERROR TRAIN DVD, says it will be worth the wait. Don't know if I mentioned this here, or not, but Jamie Lee Curtis and David Copperfield turned down Cliff's requests to participate in the extras. Oh, well . . . would have loved to heard a Curtis commentary. I'm guessing that, maybe, TERROR TRAIN isn't one of her favorites.

Menioned it in post #113 on page 4 of this thread:

Next best thing would have been to have an interview with Jamie Lee Curtis and David Copperfield. Am hoping there will be a documentary or featurette on the making of Terror Train (1980).

Any word yet on the status of Black Oak Conspiracy (1977) and Sweet Kill (1973)?

Well, goddamn, I DID mention it. Short term memory has always been in the crapper. No word on Black Oak Conspiracy (1977) and Sweet Kill (1973).

Short term memory can be forgiven on this thread since we have been bombarded with Blondie.  Now that the air is fresher our memory can come back. smile.gif

Things can get confusing, and so it takes time to get your bearings. cool.gif

Am hoping there will be a Shout film release from the horror genre later this year, along the lines of Bad Dreams and Visiting Hours.

Coming in late on this, but wow, Terror Train on Blu-ray? That is one seriously beautifully photographed slasher film -- can't wait to see it on Blu-ray!

Alien Opponent with Roddy Piper is coming out in April. Roddy as a priest with a gun is essential viewing.

Oh, the horror titles coming from us later this year will make you very happy... much bigger and better than those two films... and i love those two movies.

Can you give us any hints as to what they might be?

Except for rereleases (hopefully we will get THE ENTITY), there aren't many Fox horror films left. THE VINDICATOR is not really bigger. Id like to see SAVAGE HARVEST finally on Dvd.

If he is hinting about the Bing Crosby Pictures we may finally be getting WILLARD, BEN ,ARNOLD, TERROR IN THE WAX MUSEUM and THE REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD.

In any case, Shout! Has never disappointed me....they are doing an outstanding job. DAMNATION ALLEY, THE LAST HARD MEN and SKY RIDERS, THE NICKEL RIDE and 99 AND 1/4 % DEAD ...id never thought id see any of them...especially in such fine editions.

Keep up the good work!

I could be wrong, but SAVAGE HARVEST is now controlled by MGM now.

That would make an ideal MOD .

Is it with MGM now through Sandy Howard?

Of all the nature gone amuck movies after Jaws, Savage Harvest is one of the most intense.

With all the reissues of late from Anchor Bay from their Fox deal (Project X , Modern Problems, Only the Lonely, Dutch

, The Entity still may be with them as well as the sought after Six Pack, The Pirate Movie and Rhinestone.

It shows on Cable with their logo so you are right.

Louis, sounds like it's the "Bings" and you left one out, "W".

I can see Shout double featuring WILLARD/BEN. and TERROR WAX/ARNOLD. THE REONCARNATION OF PETER PROUD would make a good double bill with the already released THE MEPHISTO WALTZ or perhaps the great Tv movie owned by Fox called SHE WAITS where Patty Duke is possessed by her husbands former dead wife

WILLARD/BEN is a no-brainer. TERROR IN THE WAX MUSEUM/ARNOLD makes sense.
REINCARNATION OF PETER PROUD and MEPHISTO D/F could never happen. One's Paramount and the other's Fox. ROPP would be by itself as it rightly deserves. Another Bing is YOU'LL LIKE MY MOTHER. One more Bing I'd like to see is SPECIAL DELIVERY with Bo Svensen.

Was thinking myself which Fox titles could be possibilities for the horror titles later this year. If not Fox titles, what other possibilities could there be? Ideally, I'd like to see a slasher horror movie double feature again (and on separate discs).

I remember suggesting to Cliff a long time ago in another thread that they license some of the unreleased Universal Horror films, some of which are huge cult favorites:

Let's Kill Uncle (1966)
Island of Terror (1966)
The Projected Man (1966)
Eye of the Cat (1969)
Fear No Evil (1969)
Ritual of Evil (1970)
A Little Game (1971)
The Devil and Miss Sarah (1971)
The Victim (1972)
The Screaming Woman (1972)
You'll Like My Mother (1972)
Trapped (1973)
Maneater (1973)
Scream, Pretty Peggy (1973)
The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (1973)
House of Evil (1974)
Killdozer (1974)
The Savage Bees (1976)
Burned at the Stake (1981)
Death Valley (1982)
Bates Motel (1987)
I Saw What You Did (1988)
Trapped (1989)
Nightlife (1989)
Strays (1991)
The Birds II: Land's End (1994)

The Birds II: Land's End (1994)

If Universal were willing to license out some of their unreleased horror titles, that would be very welcome. Death Valley (1982) I'd definitely like to see released on DVD/Blu-ray, so this title certainly gets another vote from me.

Other titles I'm interested in, from the quoted list above:

Fear No Evil (1969)

Ritual of Evil (1970)

The Victim (1972)

The Screaming Woman (1972)

Killdozer (1974)

Bates Motel (1987)

I Saw What You Did (1988)

Trapped (1989)

The Birds II: Land's End (1994).
