Ready for the hurricane

I've charged all my portables (PSP, DSxl, and GBA(2)). I have five 2-liters of Diet Coke, a bag of pretzels, and some cheddar fish. And I've got a box of AA for the old Gameboy (just it case it's *really* bad). I think I'm ready.

Anything I missed?

I lost power Sunday morning about 5 minutes after I got out of bed. Had my 3DS charged up with Zelda...but that's it. Hell, I barely even prepped for the hurricane at all, and I live on Long Island!

Luckily, the landlord had a generator. I just got power back today but was able to spend the last two nights playing Killzone 3 (in 3D, using the SharpShooter/Move) and LA Noire. Suffering is for chumps!

Yeah, I was disappointed. My lights flickered once and we got 6-7 inches of rain; but that's it. We did have a lot of outages near me, but I was spared. Went retro on my PC and played Baldur's Gate II all weekend.

Sounds like it worked out great for you too. Hurricane - Ha!

(I'm pretty sure I just jinxed myself.)
