Please note that the date is tentative and we may be rolling out some of the pieces on different days. Because this is an early preview its possible that something might get pushed back after QA testing or a few other bug fixes might get rolled in. I'll confirm after the update is loaded.
Post-bit Changes:
You asked for it so we are making changes to the post-bit, separating the joined date and.... well a picture is worth 1000 words:
Notice how the joined date is one again on its own line, the post count will be a link to a listing of posts, we have added reviews with a link to those reviews, and reputation will be added soon. Please note on the final version reputation will be a graphical, not a numeric representation.
Reputation:
Reputation is just about ready. It will be here sometime around the end of the month. We will have a lot more information when we launch it. Needless to say that is what the thumbs up icon under the posts is for.
Features and Enhancements:
- Hot keys for the BBCode Editor. You can now use CTRL-B, CTRL-I, and CTRL-U for bold, italic, and underline. CTRL-SHIFT-L will link. CTRL-ENTER or ALT-S will submit (this last part will function in threads and PMs only for now).
- Improved caching of user post-bits for better thread page performance.
- Improved performance for particularly large posts and threads.
- Article/Wiki titles will now reflect the case you type instead of forcing title case: "Forum FAQs" instead of "Forum Faqs." Still no punctuation in titles but we're working on that too. (Note: this will just be for new Articles going forward)
- The layout of threads with embedded images will no longer jump around vertically while those images load. We will now reserve the correct amount of space for each image when the page is first rendered.
- The "fade in" effect on avatar images (which is a page load performance feature) has now been sped up so that it won't be noticeable to users.
Bug fixes:
- Thread reply posting to Facebook now functions reliably.
- Odd characters displaying in Classified posts should no longer occur.
- Incorrect ship-to tags are no longer being pulled into Classifieds.
- Fixed a bug that left the "view all my social groups" page empty all the time.
- Site stats module updates were unstuck.
- System errors when posting product reviews were resolved.
- Comment notification emails will no longer strip out line breaks.
- We solved an issue that was causing blank line items to appear in bulleted lists.

- We updated our support for YouTube embeds to tolerate some new changes by them.
- We fixed a problem with the "make primary" function on product images.
- The thumbs-up comment box was misbehaving but we tanned its hide and sent it to bed with no supper.
- Lots of moderator fixes and tweaks to keep them happy.
