Just having a bit of fun, although I probably should have waited 'till April Fool's Day.

For your pleasure I'll just admit that you got me with that. LOL!

Could you really have held off that long?

Now, the interesting thing is that film is actually highly watchable. Definitely a comedy, made even more so thanks to MST3K and Cinematic Titanic (well, I own the CT take on it but haven't yet watched it, but the MST3K is an all time fav). A great cleaned up print would be something I'd probably buy. I'd love to know some story behind it, etc.

It's an extra on the upcoming bd of RARE EXPORTS. I would actually like to see this done up right in HD. biggrin.gif

I forgot about Rare Exports. I'll bet they didn't clean up the print of Santa Conq. I already have the MST3K and 2 separate copies, one off a Dollar Tree DVD and another off a Mill Creek Christmas themed multi-pack. Of course, you never can tell. It will probably naturally look better on BD.

SCCTM brings back memories. In the early eighties, when I was about ten years old, Tom Hatten used to play it on his "Family Film Festival" on KTLA.

I miss TV like that. You could stay up late and that kind of thing would be playing. Later on, Nightflight showed up. Even HBO was a way better station in the 80s. We didn't need multiple HBOs, just the one was perfect.
