Rise in spam from email I've gotten from HTF posters

Just a heads up, in the last few days I've gotten a number of spam messages from posters here at HTF who have had their accounts compromised. I'm not certain if there is an HTF attack vector in common or just a coincidence, but please take a heads up and don't assume that if you get a link emailed to you from a fellow HTFer that it is automatically safe.

ESPECIALLY if it has no subject or has other sketchy details.

Note that these have been from their PRIVATE emails, from people I have talked to on email outside of the PMs on the forums. NOT internal to HTF accounts!

I'm pretty sure its just a coincidence as we don't have any email passwords.  It seems like I always have someone I know (including a reviewer from HTF this week) who is getting their gmail, yahoo or hotmail account "hacked" usually due to weak passwords.

Probably, just seemed like an odd coincidence for really veteran users to get it at the same time by the same kind of canadian pharmacy hacker spammers.

I'm used to it from my parents dumb ass AOL buddies.

I'm sure the folks involved with this batch are wiser than that crew =)

Please keep your eyes out for anything similar tho and as always, don't click on anything you aren't 100% sure of!
