About a year ago I recall reading an article online somewhere about the process of making your house available for film crews for use in tv, movies and commercials. I don't recall where it was I saw this. There was a website that was mentioned which serves as a sort of registry for location managers to find suitable properties when filming.
This idea has me intrigued. I have tried to find more information but come up pretty much empty. I found some British services but only one in the US; http://www.goforfilming.com/ The properties it has listed are limited and I have my doubts the site is, um, effective...
