LASERDISC PLAYER PROBLEM - CLD D-701

Hi. I have a Pioneer CLD D701

 

Up till now, it's player perfectly with perfect picture.

 

Recently though, when it plays Side A, the picture is warbly with a wave going across it.

 

But Side B still plays crystal clear.

 

Any thoughts on cause and fix?

Sound like a transport problem.  Unless you are very knowledgable about how these work, you should have a repairman look at it, though may be tough to find one.
