Reports are she died today at age 79. frown.gif

Just heard on the radio as well.   She lived a long, full life.  She'll be missed.

Well, the number of her former husbands would outfit a volleyball, with 2 reserves.  Yeah, she lived a full life.

Definitely a film icon.  The production stories of Cleopatra alone would cement such star power and status.

RIP, Liz.

She actually lived a lot longer than I ever expected of her due to all the medical problems she had over the years.  May she R.I.P.

A "Place in the Sun" made me take notice of the beautiful woman, but it was her work on "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" that made me see she was more than a lovely face. Rest in peace Ms. Taylor.

I agree with Mr. Crawford.

She appeared to be on the brink of death so many times the last few decades, the news of her passing almost feels surreal. The nice photos Mike has kindly provided above, reminds us of why she was one of American cinemas great treasures.

She'll be missed...always.

Very sad... just heard this myself.

RIP....

RIP

...I wonder if she's happily arguing with Burton right at this moment?

And despite all her medical problems - I still say she died too young. She should have lived to be a 90 or more.

I wasn't a real fan of her as an actress, but I think she was a grand woman.

May she rest in peace.
