HTF Contest: Win a copy of How I Won the War on DVD - Page 2

I saw this film in a smokey college screening room many, many years ago. I'd really enjoy seeing it again under better conditions!

Would really like to see this again. Also "Bed Sitting Room" from this same time period should be reissued.

I hadn't heard of this before either. As much as I love the Beatles, I find it shameful how little I know of their post-Beatles work. It's about time I started catching up. P.S. A Blu-Ray would indeed be nice.

This seemed surprisingly topical when it was released. Now, I would call it prophetic, even.

Being a hugh John Lennon fan I would love to see this again. Saw it once many years ago.

Clapper:"You married?"

Gripweed:"No, I play the harmonica."

If you only know Michael Crawford from "The Phantom Of The Opera" you're in for a surprise.

Never seen it, but looks interesting!

One of those titles that sorta creeps up outta nowhere. A totally random and welcome surprise. Will be fun to see this again, for sure!

The title had such a familiar ring to it that at first I didn't doubt that I knew what it was.  But I didn't.  Nice to be surprised with things like this!

I saw this when I was a teenager.  I loved it.

Sounds interesting. I don't think I've ever seen this before

I didn't even know this was coming out until I saw this contest. I really like John's performance.

I just wanted to point out that we are also running a contest for the Ten Commandments on Blu-ray too.  Full details here: http://www.hometheaterforum.com/wiki/current-contests  You have to find where to enter somewhere on the front page in a new location every day (its not that hard to fine, look for the BD cover).

Yay! More Richard Lester in R1.

Mr Buklis,

This isn't post-beatles work. The film was made in 1967 -- at the time of Sgt. Peppers / Magical Mystery Tour.  The Beatle split up 3 years later.

I've never seen the film and have always been curious about it...

Would love to replace the laserdisc, so please add me to the list for the contest.  Very funny film, by the way.

Heck. You're right. Now I really need to see this! I guess I need to add "and anything outside the group".

The random number generator has spoken.  Congratulations to Henry, Mark, Felicia, Vincent and Allen (Grand Prize).  Look for a PM from me so I can get your ship-to address.  If I don't hear back with your address by 4/1 a new name may be drawn and your prize awarded to someone else.
