Has VEI ever released DVD sets of shows produced by and/or owned by 20th Century Fox?

No, the only US shows VEI has released thus far have been from Stephen J. Cannell Productions & Universal.

I doubt highly that VEI would pick up Mr. Belvedere, on the other hand anything is possible I guess?!  I think fans of this series should focus on getting the final two seasons released, instead of hoping for a complete series release that is unlikely to ever happen.

I don't know when the last time is that you looked at the next season of Happy Days but there is way too much music for it to ever get released. Suzi Quatro starts making appearances and every episode she's in is about 50% music. There's also a Valentine's Day episode made up entirely of songs. It would cost a fortune to put this season out intact.

Don't forget about the current ongoing dispute between CBS & the cast members.  Apparently they are suing CBS over unpaid royalties, regarding profits from the sale of Happy Days merchandise.  It was recently reported that CBS had made a payment to the cast but its a very small amount ($6000 a piece), nowhere near what they were demanding.  Interesting note here is that Henry Winkler & Ron Howard (arguably the two main stars of the show) are not part of the lawsuit.

As long as this dispute continues, don't look for any more DVD releases of the show.  This show is one of my favourites but due to the music edits I refuse to buy any of the released seasons so I don't really care if any more seasons come out as they will be butchered just like the others.

The CBS syndication Bible now says that Love Boat has been transferred to HD through Season 7, which I HOPE is a sign that releases will be resuming soon.

Jack, you've got my hopes up!! Is this a new development? I so want to own at least the first 7 seasons of Love Boat,
this is one of my favourite shows, it's very frustrating being stuck at season two. The half season sets released so far
are great, other than the frustration of buying 4 volumes, only to have two seasons!

I too am a big fan of Love Boat and would love to see more.

However, in viewing the CBS syndication bible online, it's hard to determine whether the fact that masters are put onto HD is indicative of a possible DVD release. Some shows that have been fully released on DVD (Little House on the Prairie, for example) seem to never have been transferred into HD, whereas some other shows (Laverne & Shirley, for instance) have been fully transferred to HD (and appear to have been transferred awhile ago) but remain stalled, DVD-wise.

Although, one would suspect there is some reasoning behind it, I mean, they wouldn't just do it for the heck of it, I wouldn't think.
