The Completely Mental Midadventures of Ed Grimley

Since Warner has been putting out old Hanna-Barbera cartoons....why not this? This is an actual quality show, not just nostalgia over junk--but a smart, well-written, decently animated show.

Anyone else agree that the entire series needs to be out there?

I agree. I would love to see a release.

I totally agree. And so does Martin Short.

Seriously. I did a phone interview with him this afternoon, and we discussed the show's absence on DVD. He said he'd love to see it released and talked about how the show never really had a chance on Saturday mornings, likening it more to the mindset of a show like "Rocky & Bullwinkle" than any other animated series. He said that NBC head Brandon Tartikoff apologized after the series went off the air, saying, "We didn't know what to do with it!"

Well, I know what they can do with it now: release it on DVD!

Warner Archive says on their Facebook page they're big fans of Ed Grimley (they must say) and there is a possibility of this coming out on DVD. No other information though.
