I'm not current on your situation with restoring The Alamo, but I assume the project still needs money. As a Texan, I can think of one obvious fund-raising organization ideal for this project: The Daughters of the Republic of Texas. I seriously cannot consider the possibility that they would not be interested in saving the only complete Alamo for posterity. From what I can remember, John Wayne was pretty much considered a latter-day Founding Father by this group. Their web address is drt-inc.org.
