HERE'S LUCY: SEASON 4 - MARCH 29TH, 2011 - Page 3

Lucky Day - give it a B+. The chimp was adorable ... and it was great to see both Lucy and Lucie working with it. I really enjoyed the musical number this time. The part where Lucy "answered" those three questions was stretching it.

Comes to Tea - give it an A+. It was interesting to learn via the introduction that Lucy and Ginger were distant cousins. Lucky Ginger!

Dan Dailey - give it a B. Loved the part where Harry dressed up as a woman.

Bonus Bounces - give it a C. This one I am afraid to say was way over the top.

Go Night Night - give it a C-. Lucy was annoying in this episode.

In Jungle - give it an A. The "swapping places" concept was interesting. Loved the setting in this one and the wild animals! That parrot was funny at times.

Chinese Curse - give it an A. This one had a recycled plot used in other sitcoms. I enjoyed it nevertheless.

UP NEXT TO WATCH: Kim Moves Out.

Here's Lucy writer, Madelyn Pugh Davis , has passed away at the age of 90. She died yesterday (April 20th, 2011). Of course, her association with Ms. Ball goes all the way back to the 1940s radio series, My Favorite Husband.

That is certainly a beautful pic of our favorite redhead. I definitely hope they don't make any changes. That cover is perfect as far as I am concerned!

Same thoughts myself. Love the front cover artwork. Spot on, and as good as the fourth season's front cover artwork.

It probably will be touched up and finalized when the season gets announced officially. 'Til then this is just a taste of the cover.

I hope they change the color. We've already had an orange cover. I think they should make it a dark color this time around.

I once considered this series a no brainer to be completed but now I'm starting to have some doubts. We were getting a new season every 5-6 months. That pattern is now broken as there is no release coming in September and there is nothing about the next release on MPI website so its starting to look doubtful that we will get another season this year. Maybe they are waiting for The Lucy show to complete 1st since Season 5 of that show is supposed to be coming out in November.

It would be a shame, because the final two seasons of HERE'S LUCY were the best -- or it might be better to say they were the least worst. biggrin.gif

MPI stated long before they started releasing season sets that they had made a commitment to release every season and the whole series of Here's Lucy. I believe it is just a matter of time.

I think I will just look at the source of this opinion. smiley_wink.gif

And didn't we have this same "will they/won't they" conversation when there was no news for a long time between seasons 3 and 4, which eventually took nine months between the releases?
