Culver City, Calif. (November 15, 2010) – Justice will be served on January 25^th when Justified: The Complete First Season arrives on Blu-ray® and DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  Timothy Olyphant (TV’s “Damages” and “Deadwood”) stars as U.S Marshal Raylan Givens in the Sony Pictures Television/FX Productions series. A modern-day gun-slinging police drama, Justified is developed by Graham Yost and based on the short story Fire in the Hole by America’s pre-eminent crime novelist Elmore Leonard (Out of Sight, Get Shorty).  The series also stars Nick Searcy (TV’s “Easy Money”), Joelle Carter (TV’s “Three Rivers”), Jacob Pitts (HBO’s “The Pacific”), Erica Tazel (TV’s “Jericho”) and Natalie Zea (The Other Guys, TV’s “Hung”).

SYNOPSIS

Timothy Olyphant stars as a true-blue hero and something of a throwback based on the character created from legendary crime novelist Elmore Leonard’s “Fire in the Hole.” Deputy Marshall Raylan Givens (Olyphant) is exiled to his hometown of Harlan County, Kentucky- a place he vowed he would never return- after the shooting of a Miami drug cartel hit man raises doubts about his renegade style of law enforcement. Unfortunately it isn’t long before the people he left behind begin to surface in the most unexpected ways. Raylan’s new job pursuing prison escapees, fugitive con men and a corrupt local sheriff has never been more intense.
